AIDE HUMANITAIRE HORIZONS (Horizons Humanitarian Relief), a non-profit organization registered in Canada under Numéro d'entreprise du Québec (NEQ): 1179813317 and governed by Québec’s Loi sur les compagnies, Partie 3 (RLRQ, C.C-38), is committed to alleviating suffering and promoting resilience among vulnerable communities worldwide. Guided by its vision to deliver life-changing humanitarian aid, Horizons implements programs in health, nutrition, protection, and livelihoods, adhering to international humanitarian standards and operating transparently to earn the trust of global donors. As part of its strategic initiatives, Horizons has established a partnership with AFAQ, a local humanitarian organization that originated in 2019 as a voluntary effort by a group of educated youth moved by the plight of displaced populations. Initially focused on providing food, medicine, and basic shelter to ease the suffering of the displaced, AFAQ quickly grew as the crises intensified, with its volunteer base expanding to over fifty members. Formalized to address pressing humanitarian needs in northern Syria, AFAQ now operates within an institutional framework free of political or partisan affiliations, delivering essential services and pioneering projects in protection, health, nutrition, and livelihoods. This partnership underscores Horizons’ commitment to collaborating with trusted local entities like AFAQ to ensure impactful and sustainable humanitarian responses that bring hope and dignity to those in need.
